The Local Area

Rhydhir Farm is based in an Idyllic rural location and although in a rural part of Wales, we have a wide range of historic towns and renowned attractions on our doorstep.

We have outlined a small selection below to ensure your stay is as action packed or leisurely as you choose:

Walking & Horse Riding

Stables for hire on-site

The farm is in a beautiful Welsh hillside location, surrounded by bridle paths and rights of way for rambling, horse riding or just a leisurely stroll to take in the local wildlife. Mid Wales is a natural habitat for Red Kites, Buzzards, Otters and Red Foxes just to name a few.  For keen outdoor adventurers, we are adjacent to beacon hill (with accessible bridal pathways and rights of way) and only a short distance from Glyndwr’ s Way and Offa’s Dyke.
